The LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack is all players need to begin - build the base and embark on a fantastic quest. Included in the LEGO Dimensions Starter Pack:
Build the minifigure heroes and fire-up the game to start the experience, then follow the in-game build instructions to assemble the loose bricks into the LEGO Gateway, and place the structure on the LEGO Toy Pad. Expand the adventure by collecting more minifigures, vehicles, gadgets, and new levels with the purchase of three different types of expansion packs. Use whatever minifigure with whichever vehicle or gadget - go ahead... break the rules!

Game Storyline
There is an ancient planet at the centre of the LEGO Multiverse inhabited by an evil mastermind, Lord Vortech. It is said that he who controls the Foundational Elements that this planet is built upon, controls all of the Multiverse. Lord Vortech has vowed to be that ruler, summoning characters from a variety of LEGO worlds to help him find these building bricks of LEGO civilization. Some have agreed. Others have rebelled. And only the combined powers of the greatest LEGO heroes can stop him.

Armed with only her portal gun and her wits, journey as Chell and battle through the newly rebuilt Portal 2 Aperture Science Test Labs filled with puzzles, Thermal Discouragement Beams, Neurotoxins and GLaDOS! Build Chell, attach her to the LEGO Toy Tag and place her on the LEGO Toy Pad to see her spring to life in the game. Activate her special Acrobat and Portal Gun abilities to overcome obstacles and defeat enemies, and if she's in a tight spot, call in the rebuildable 3-in-1 Companion Cubeand Sentry Turret to help her escape from GLaDOS and Portal's puzzle-filled world!

Your favorite retro Midway Arcade characters have escaped from their games and Gamer Kid needs your help to put them back where they belong! Build Gamer Kid, attach him to his LEGO Toy Tag and place him on the LEGO Toy Pad to see him come to life in the game. Activate his Stealth, Laser, Speed, Invulnerability and Super Strength abilities to solve puzzles and overpower enemies. When he needs a power-up, add the rebuildable 3-in-1 G-6155 Spy Hunter car or Arcade Machine into the game!
